I found some beautiful quotes, poems, words, just wanted to share what touched my heart
In the beginning God...."1
It's fascinating how God introduced himself to the human race. He is totally non-defensive and non-explanatory. He simply opens his Word, the Bible, with the simple but profound statement: "In the beginning God...." That is, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
God didn't tell us how he did it. Thousands of years later scientists are still trying to work out exactly how it all began and how it happened. My guess is that they will never fully unfold this mystery—not this side of eternity anyhow.
Believing in God and his creation boils down to faith and choice. We basically choose what we want to believe. Many of us believe in God because that was what we were taught as children but at some point we make a choice whether to continue believing in him or not.
For some people choosing to believe in God has more to do with morality than it has to do with intellectual issues. Many don't want to believe in God (or in some parts of the Bible) so they can live and behave as they choose. However, if we believe in God, we know that we are morally responsible and accountable to him.
Another tragedy when we don't believe in God is as the Russian author, Dostoyevsky, said: "When people stop believing in God, the danger is not that they will believe in nothing. It's that they will believe in anything."
Or as another has said, "If we don't stand for something we may fall for anything."
Suggested prayer: "Dear God, I choose to believe in you. I choose to trust my life to you and, with your help, I choose to love and serve you all the days of my life. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, in Jesus' name, amen."

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.
It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.
Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.
"Jack, did you hear me?"
"Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.
"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.
"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.
"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said
"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said. "I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral," Jack said.
As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.
The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time.
Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.
"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.
"The box is gone," he said
"What box?" Mom asked.
"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was 'the thing I value most,'" Jack said.
It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.
"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said. "I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."
It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died Returning home from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. "Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days," the note read.
Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. "Mr. Harold Belser" it read. Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside.
"Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life." A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch.
Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover. Inside he found these words engraved:
"Jack, Thanks for your time! -Harold Belser."
"The thing he valued most was...my time"
Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days. "Why?" Janet, his assistant asked.
"I need some time to spend with my son," he said.
"Oh, by the way, Janet, thanks for your time!"
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,"
Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
4. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
5. You mean the world to someone.
6. If not for you, someone may not be living.
7. You are special and unique.
8. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
11. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
13 . Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy .
14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.
To everyone " Thanks for your time "

Wow, been a few days since I had few moments to sit and type. The last time I was here it was such a cool breeze and just awesome day. Well, let me say that all changed yesterday, the weather was just awful, Tornados hitting a few places, lots and lots of rain, it really worried me there for a while. I had to leave my 2 youngsters home while I worked and that really scared the poots out of me...But, God took care of them for me and my eldest son in college....
Today, on the other hand, was just gorgeous, shocking after yesterday well mostly last nite...Funny how the weather can just come and destroy things in one moment and then in the next moment all beautiful and shining like nothing ever happen, it is even very warm today, so strange how it all works....
I started off a usual morning, getting the kids off to school, then received a call from my Mom asking if I would go help her with her sister who is really sick, they wanted to go to the store and just spend the day out shopping...Well of course I would do that, I told her that anytime she needed to just call me, my Mom is not in the best of health herself, but, she always seems to be there for her siblings no matter what...
We have to use a wheel chair for my aunt because one side of her body doesn't work, see she has a brain tumor, which will be one year ago in November that they found..she was not supposed to live no more than a couple of months and she was only 60 years old, but, she has continued for now a year. The struggle is very hard though, the treatment seems to do other damages on her body...it is so sad, she looses memory, but what is even more sad is she tries to tell us something that she knows what she wants to say but the words just don't come out the way she wants them too...Then to top it off her husband had been diagnose with Alzheimer sorry if I misspelled, few month before they found her tumor...Their children ended up putting them both in the nursing home which I really disapprove of because there are 4 of them, yea, I know they all have lives and it can be hard, but, this is their parents, the ones who cared for them during their growing up and during their hard times....But, I guess it is not for me to judge, even though I find it hard not to...
Well, to go on about our day, we really enjoyed it together walking around the store and looking at all the Christmas items already on the shelves. I just love Christmas, all the beautiful lights and all the colorful paper and just the feeling in the air. After our little window shopping in the store we headed off to eat some fried chicken. While sitting there a moment after eating my aunt looked to me and said your bowl was on my hand, I was confused, and my Mom and I asked her again what she meant, and she said again that my bowl was on her hand, I was sitting next to her right side the side that has no movement, no controlling it. We understood what had happen, the tumor on her brain messes with her thought and her sight her being able to distinguish distance..She actually saw that my bowl was on her hand or on her arm, and not being able to really feel anything in that arm, she was confused..It is so sad to see my aunt going through this..I already seen my brother go through an illness and it breaks my heart..I do question, and I do get confused to why, but I keep telling myself over and over God has his plan, and it will be revealed in the big picture...
I am so thankful that I get to spend some valuable time with my aunt...I know it may seem that the day was fill with sadness but No, it was a day filled with LOVE........Thank you God for working through all of us to make sure this day was a memory to last forever.....
